London’s F-IRE Collective give their affectionate musical responses to Jewish- American comedy greats with a newly commissioned suite of pieces incorporating audio and visual footage. Including the work of Andy Kaufman, Mel Brooks, Jackie Mason, Harpo Marx, Joan Rivers, Larry David, Woody Allen, Three Stooges and more. F-IRE’s ensemble, especially formed for this performance, features seven multi-instrumentalists and composers including at least two Jews and four artists who like matzo balls.
